Hallie lives in Brighton, Massachusetts with her boyfriend and their doberman pinscher, Troy. She graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Studio Art in 2006. Hallie always had a love for abstract painting and started taking private painting and drawing classes when she was 10 years old, and has continued her art education since. This was all made possible by her biggest fans, her parents, who have their own personal Hallie Fae gallery in their house.
Hallie's art "gene" comes from her paternal grandmother (since both of her parents have trouble drawing stick figures :).) She is constantly looking for new inspiration from the environment around her. Her favorite and most inspirational artist is Michael Mazur, who she corresponded with while in high school. Her paintings and style are always growing and changing, and she loves experimenting with paint, molding paste and mixed media to create new textures on canvases.
